Dr. Poornima Dore
Poornima Dore is a practicing economist, driving impact through finance, public policy, innovation and digital transformation. As the CEO of Dorian Scale, and ex-Director (Analytics, Insights & Impact) at Tata Trusts, she is a highly sought-after advisor for leaders across diverse sectors, valued for her expertise in creating deep strategic impact and building winning teams. She teaches at some of India's premier management institutes and is a life member of the Institute of Directors.
With a Management Degree from XLRI, and a Ph.D. in Economics from IIT Bombay, she has been a TAS officer at the salt to semi-conductors conglomerate - the Tata Group. Over two decades, she has led large programs at the intersection of business, philanthropy, academia and government, activated private sector investments in data-driven governance, digital public goods, regional growth, urbanization, migration and designed special institutional programs on impact and SME financing.
She serves on the Board of select institutions as well as Ministerial Committees and has been recognized as one of the top 100 Analytics Leaders in South Asia. and is also an active musician. Her research covers macro-regional growth, smart cities, and local economy insights.
